Chorizo Cream Sauce with Grilled Asparagus and Broccolini
1 ½ cups heavy whipping cream (3/4 pint)
½ cup dice chorizo sausage
1 bunch of asparagus
1 bunch of broccolini
1< Warm oil on medium and add chorizo to oil. If you used uncooked chorizo, make sure it is thoroughly cooked through. 2< Add heavy whipping cream to chorizo and bring to a slight boil. Stir immediately and turn heat down to medium low. 3< Continuously stir. Allow whipping cream to thicken up and remove from heat. Salt to taste. 4< Heat cast iron pan grill and coat with olive oil. Lightly toss the vegetables in olive oil and grill for about 3-5 minutes. You can also use an outdoor grill. Salt to taste. 5< Plate vegetable and cover with cream sauce.
